Frogs Basketball is a domestic club. Domestic clubs are the ideal place for enthusiastic beginner junior players to begin their basketball journey. Learning the skills of the game in a supportive yet competitive environment with other team mates of similar age and ability level Frogs Basketball aims to, at a minimum, encourage children to embrace an healthy and active lifestyle.

Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) – also known as representative basketball is commonly the next step for aspiring players. Try outs are usually held at the end of Term 3 and the season runs for 12 months. Games are on a Friday night and traveling to different venues across Melbourne will be required. Trainings are usually 90 minutes (or longer) and some teams may train twice a week.
Representative basketball is played in conjunction with domestic basketball.
A great way to continue to developing your game is seeking private basketball coaching. This can be in the form of 1-on-1 with an experience coach, which can be expensive depending on the experience of your coach, or in regular small group sessions. Many private basketball coaches have vast knowledge of the sport including representative, college and professional experiences to share with junior players.
