My names Taylah, and I’m the newest team member here at Frogs Basketball. I wanted to reach out to our members and share a little bit about myself. I’ve been playing basketball for over 17 years, as a youngster playing local and representative basketball and as a young adult moving my way into the Victorian Youth Championship league as a player and captain. I also got the chance to play the game with former opals players, current WNBL and current AFLW players in the SEABL league (now known as NBL1).
As well as being involved in basketball as a player for many years, I have also engaged in a range of different roles within the sport. I have run skills clinics, provided coaching assistance and worked as a referee for several years. Away from basketball, I am a Psychology student with a passion for supporting and promoting the health of young people.
I hope to be a friendly and approachable face around the club for all players, coaches, parents and members. I may have met some of you while running the skills clinics this January. For those I haven’t met yet, I hope to soon.
I’m excited to join the Frogs community and see what we can achieve in 2021!
